St Cecilia school complex project
On 14 February 2020, the construction site for St Cecilia’s School in Dundori, Kenya, was officially opened with the laying of the foundation stone by the county authorities and ABBA, which is involved in this project to build a school complex for 400 children.
The Governor of Nyandarua County HE. Francis Kimemia, some ministers and many guests attended the ceremony presided over by the Vicar General of the Diocese, Fr Timothy Macharia.
Men and women from 12 parishes worked all day to dig the earth on which the foundations of the first building will be built.
This marked the beginning of the first phase of construction, which included 15 classrooms and a worship centre. Don Onesimo Kamau is the project manager and ABBA’s contact person.
Among the workers are 5 girls.
